About Us:
Eastern Starr Farm is a family friendly show barn. We are located in an HOA run facility in horse friendly Ramona CA. We give lessons to riders of all ages and levels of riding. We are very dedicated to creating educated horse people. We don't just teach people how to ride but every aspect of horse care in between. Each riding lesson begins with getting your horse out, getting ready, riding, and proper after care. If you do not have your own horse we have horses for every level of rider. Riding is a lot more than just showing up, and we are proud to offer all the in betweens.

Our head trainer, Christina Fuller moved here from New England in 2010. Christina was a 4-H member, leader, and volunteer for many years learning and teaching about horsemanship. She showed all throughout the New England Area. From schooling and 4-H shows to A and breed shows. She earned many Championships, Equitation awards and year end championships. Qualified for Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut medals. She also has show experience with breed shows. Although her focus is mainly hunters, she also teaches a variety of disciplines and all the equitation classes in between. When she decided to start a new lesson program in San Diego she knew she wanted to do something different. She came from a big show barn, showing all over the east coast. She wanted to teach riders who are willing to work hard not just buy their way onto a horse. "You can buy the horse, not the talent" Christina works closely with riders on our show team. Riders participate in one on one Private lesson and then work off additional group lessons. "If you want something you need to work for it. Its important to me that my riders understand their horse is their partner and not just a tool. We have no grooms, No stable hands, we do every aspect of horse care on our own."
